CBUK Objectives

Okay, now the initial method for membership has been decided upon we need to work out what direction to go in. Below are some possible suggestions, but feel free to add your own. You can select multiple options. If you're opposed to any of these objectives then please also let us know in the comments field. Thanks!


What should the campaign focus(es) be?
Promoting breweries ignored by CAMRA
Supporting pubs wishing to diversify beer range
Campaigning for quality keg beer
Promoting UK craft beer outside the UK
Running beer tasting events

    Wait, the poll results don't support your assertion that the "initial method for membership has been decided on".

    ...and the options in this poll are so biased it's untrue.

    The options of the poll are shaped by suggestions already made to CBUK via blogs/email. There is an "other" option for further ideas.

    The options aren't leading in any way, no one forces somoene to tick if they agree.

    The options ARE leading.

    The worst is "Supporting breweries ignored by CAMRA", which implies that there are in fact breweries ignored by CAMRA.

    I suppose it depends what you mean by ignored.

    If you mean "don't order their beer for beer festivals", then yes, they're "ignored".

    If you mean "don't benefit from the great support of the entire brewing industry, with benefits such as small brewer's relief", then no, they're not ignored.

    All of the above breweries are assigned a CAMRA brewery liaison officer. Would CAMRA be happier if they produced real ale? Yes. Does the fact that they don't mean that CAMRA ignores them? No.
